UK Climate Information (UKCI) is a new national climate service to help the UK plan for the challenges of climate change and to support climate adaptation decision-making.  We invite academic and technical communities to join a webinar on 24 September 2026, from 10:00-11:00 AM (BST) to learn about the latest scientific developments underpinning UKCI.

Building on the previous UKCI webinar, this session will provide a deeper dive into the scientific methodology and experimental design that underpin the programme, offering greater insight into how future UKCI outputs will be generated. Hear from experts across the UK climate science community, including speakers from the Met Office and NERC research centres, and take part in a Q&A. Whether you currently use UKCP18 or are planning to use UKCI outputs in the future, this webinar will help you understand the science, methodology and future direction of the programme.
